It was time to meet my girlfriend’s family.  I was told that her father was nothing but happy about her only daughter having a relationship with a complete stranger.  That was what I am to him though.  My girlfriend’s family loves to go outing on a Sunday.  The beach would be a nice place to meet her parents.  I was so excited at the idea and planned on how to impress her father.  My mind became blank and told myself to just let it flow.

The day finally came.  All of us were there except for her father which was late because he had to run to a nearby shop.  It was an excuse probably.  I was frustrated by that, so, I went to my car to be by myself.  Suddenly I saw my girlfriend’s father looming around his car with his hands on his waist.  I was guessing something was seriously wrong.  He was already sweating and fuming.  Luckily, his mobile phone ran out of battery.  I went to him and offered to call the transmission repair Tyrone.

The transmission repair shop was there immediately.  They were able to fix the car.  As for me, I was able to win the Big Guy’s attention without sweating at all; especially when the car had not had any problem since then.
